Morris HS Student Reaches Eagle Scout Status

This Morris Township resident is part of Troop 39 of Morris Plains

Morristown High School has another student to be proud of. 

Boy Scout Troop 39 of Morris Plains recently held a Court of Honor to recognize its 78th Eagle Scout since its founding in 1930: Daniel English of Morris Township. Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in Boy Scouts.

This Morristown High School freshman designed and built four fitness stations on Jockey Hollow Preserve Top Trail, off Rolling Hills Drive in Morris Township.

More than 30 volunteers, including Troop 39 Boy Scouts and their families, contributed more than 300 volunteer hours to complete this project.
