families, single men and those with mental disabilities. They also run a furniture resale store in Morris Plains.
According to Homeless Solutions' Susan Robinson, the Mt. Kemble Home in Morristown was founded in 1883 to provide

in danger of having to close," Robinson said. "The HSI Board and staff knew that if this
happened, the 19 residents there would struggle to find safe, decent
housing so we worked with the Board of The Mt. Kemble Home and decided
that the best outcome would be for HSI to take over The Mount Kemble
Guests at Monday's celebration had the opportunity to tour the historic building, hear about its
history, and speak with some of the current residents.
