Big Brew Beer Festival Back On Tap in Morristown

Morristown Armory event Saturday looks to wipe out the bad aftertaste of the inaugural festival's missteps.

The first Big Brew Beer Festival left a bad after taste in the mouths of patrons. This weekend, the goal is to change that.

JMK Shows and Events organized the event and later issued refunds and an apology for "long and cold line delays" that kept some paying customers from attending. Other issues included technological problems with scanning entrance tickets, shortage of restrooms and inadequate communication with those waiting outside.

However, JMK said they have learned from this and is more ready than ever to redeem itself in the special “Fall Festival” event set for Sept. 28 at Morristown Armory.

“Our last Big Brew event was very successful and we learned a lot from it,” said Allison Kohler, president of JMK Events. “This Fall Festival event will be even better, particularly a VIP section with fantastic food and perks, and how we streamlined the entry process to prevent long waiting lines.”

Craft breweries from around the area, nation and other countries will showcase more than 175 unique tastings.
