Public Hearing for Morris Schools' Emergency Generator this Week

Morris Township planning boards meet on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at their respective town halls. The Morris Township Planning Board agenda can be found here. 

At this meeting, there will be a public hearing for the installation of an emergency generator for the Morris School District.

Here’s a look at town meetings this week:

• The Morristown Parking Authority meets this Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the MPA office
• There will be a Vail Mansion special redevelopment meeting this Wednesday at 5 p.m. at town hall in room 201 on the second floor
• The Board of Adjustment will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday
• The Planning Board will meet on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

At the Vail Mansion meeting, the board will discuss a resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Morristown Redevelopment Agency. This resolution will further extending the time for occupancy of the Vail Mansion unit of the Vail Mansion redevelopment project by an additional 12 months, according to the agenda. At the previous meeting on June 26, a resolution was passed regarding the agreement with Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen, LLC. The resolution set forth the “financial and other terms thereof and consent to the issuance by the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control of a Special Concessionaire’s Permit at the Vail Mansion Unit of the Vail Mansion Redevelopment project,” according to meeting minutes.

The Morristown-Morris Township Library, will hold its regular meeting at 6 p.m. at the library on Tuesday
