Community Pool Closeout BBQ Back in Morris

Morris Township Parks and Recreation's annual picnic pops Sept. 7.

Labor Day may unofficially herald the end of summer, but the Morris Township Department of Parks and Recreation and the Morris Township Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee are holding one last summer fling as they host their Annual End of Season Swim Pool Picnic and BBQ on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The festivities kick off at 1 p.m. and run through 6 p.m. at the Ginty Pool facility.  The event is open to all Morris Township residents and their guests, and all non-resident swim pool members.  The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 8.

The Pool Picnic will feature continuous music with Cloud 9 DJ’s and a special live performance by Morris County’s eclectic party band– Mid-Life Crisis. The day will also feature kid’s games, arts and crafts projects, and special surprises as well as a final day of swimming and sunning at beautiful Ginty Pool.

The cost is $10.00 per person for everyone and includes a traditional BBQ with hamburgers, hot dogs, salads Jersey sweet corn and desserts.
