My husband and I feel very fortunate to have found Cradles to Crayons. It is truly a special place. Our oldest, now 3 1/2 has attended the school for 3 years and our youngest, 1 1/2, has attended for a year. The Director Maria as well as the owner Doreen have always been responsive to any questions or concerns we have ever had. They both take the time to carefully listen and if needed address the issue and ensure that it has been resolved. The center goes above and beyond just providing a safe and clean environment for the children, the staff truly care about the children. Both of my children love there care providers and look forward to seeing and spending time with them everyday. As a parent I understand the balance between socialization and education and so does Cradles. My oldest will be well prepared for kindergarden because of the varied curriculum at Cradles. The extracurricular activities such as music class with The Jam Cats, dance, soccer, karate, swimming, yoga, and gardening provide wonderful opportunities for the children to learn as well as have fun. I would highly recommend Cradles to Crayons to any parent!

Not so sure about infant care so far. Although the facility separates 3-6 mos from the crawling age infants, I am not so sure they do a good job researching and implementing what's right for children in this crucial stage. They started showing Baby Einstein DVDs to infants without a consent form, despite the fact that the American Association of Pediatrics recommends No Screen Time for infants. It is so much easier to put a child before a TV screen rather than take the time to read out aloud to them. TV and DVDs are a direct correlation to ADD. When I tried to convey the message to the Program DIrector, she did not even respond.
My 22 month old can’t wait to get to school in the morning to see Ms. Gina and Ms. Allison. She talks about all her friends and she comes home doing or saying something new every day. She receives the stimuli that we know we couldn’t provide her at home. My little 6 month old has two very special ladies that treat him as if he were their own. I couldn’t speak any more highly of Ms. Bilma and Ms. Crystal! My husband and I can only provide the highest review - our confidence and trust in the organization can’t be put into words. Any concerns or questions we have had have been addressed in a more than timely manner, and when your voice is heard, you feel that they really care. Thank you Cradles to Crayons for peace of mind every morning.
My husband and I have been using Cradles for childcare since July of 2007 and have been consistently pleased with the care and education our sons have received. The administration and staff of the school are always helpful, accommodating and considerate. Most importantly, our children truly love their teachers and the other staff of the school, and each day I drop my children off, I feel I am dropping them with people who love them too. I strongly recommend Cradles if you are considering childcare in the Morristown area.
Absolutely the BEST ... I have 2 girls and this is my 10th year with Cradles! It's been my children's home away from home!!
Cradles to crayons is really a home-away-from home experience for our family. Our 8-yr old was there for 6 years and had a great experience with teachers, staff and friends (some of which she is still in contact with). Our 2-yr old has been there since she was 6-months and enjoys the activities, loves her teachers and the care attention they have and continue to receive allows us parents to work without worry. I highly recommend Cradles for any parents looking for a top-notch child care facility!
