My first experience with Pamir was after my then 5th grade daughter returned from a dinner there hosted by her homeroom teacher. My daughter raved about the food, how neat the place was, and how nice the owner and staff were.

We have been many times since, and have yet to be disappointed. The food is very good, we love the mixed appetizers as we can try several things each time we go, and the kebabs are phenomenal.

I cannot stress how lovely this restaurant is - from the beautiful woods throughout the dining room to the perfect lighting and decor. It is cozy, elegant, and comfortable.

best kebob in town. modern, exotic, chic, intimate, and large location. dim lights and great food. top middle eastern and mediteranean restaurant in the area. i read them in NYTIMES and Zagat and was impressed.

This is simply the best restaurant in the Morristown area and it is the favorite for both me and my wife. I used to enjoy their luncheon buffet, but it is no longer offered. Their luncheon menu is limited (soups, salads, appetizers, wraps, kabobs) but I am certain the quality is excellent and I know the prices are reasonable. My wife and I go for dinner. She orders one of their appetizers and I love the aush soup (noodles, spices, vegetables and ground beef topped with yogurt and mint). My wife's favorite dish is norange palaw (lamb, chicken or eggplant over saffron rice with slivers of almonds, pistachios, orange strips, rosewater and cardamom) which is preceded by a tasty Afghan salad for $14.95 to $16.95. My favorite dish is Pamir kabob (total of 4 lamb, beef and chicken) served with vegetables, brown rice and Afghan salad for $19.50. With the above items the total cost of dinner is slightly below $60 with tax and tip, an unbelievable value for the quality of the food, which is all exceptional. Service is unobtrusive but very good.
