The county clerk's office performs a wide range of services, from record-keeping to officiating weddings. The currentMore clerk is Joan Bramhall, who was elected to a five-year term. She maintains all county land records and related legal documents, which the public may view either by visiting the Searcher's Vault in the clerk's office or via the clerk's Web site. Documents reviewed and recorded by the clerk include deeds, mortgages and maps. The clerk's registry also processes construction lien claims, clerk certificates, business trade name certificates, veterans discharge (DD214) papers and vendor licenses for veterans.
