Morristown Medical Center donating 20 minutes of call time to a soldier for every whole blood and platelet donation.
Are you interested in helping the community by giving blood? Interested in helping a soldier fighting overseas stay in touch with family? Both? Morristown Medical Center would like to see you. The hospital's Blood Donor Services currently is running a promotion–called "Operation Phone Home"–where for every whole blood or platelet donation they receive, a soldier from Fort Dix will receive 20 additional minutes of free phone card time, which they can use to call home. The promotion runs through July. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 973-971-7444 or visit the Blood Donor Services website.
