Laugh, Participate in Morristown Man's Comedy Show

'Behind the Curve Comedy' coming to Cafe on the Green Thursday.

Most go to comedy shows for a good laugh, but one Morristown man is going a step further by incorporating music, audience participation and even giveaways. Myles Maher is bringing his comedy show, ‘Behind the Curve Comedy,’ to Cafe on the Green this Thursday at 7:30 p.m.  “I've been doing this show on and off since 2008,” said Maher. “I started the show in an effort to offer a unique live experience offering music, comedy and original/engaging audience participation bits for giveaways. This will be our first time at Cafe on the Green. Cafe Aims for Simple, Satisfying Selections

Cafe on the Green is open at 28 West Park Place in Morristown.

Cafe on the Green Manager and Head Chef Chris Nguyen noted his philosophy on his menu–simple done right–as the model train traveled overhead on its infinite course around the front dining room ceiling. While the menu at Morristown's latest dining destination may be kept tight and to the point, the cafe itself is a far more eclectic collection of vintage toys, antique furniture and style points co-owner Jon McGloin fondly referred to as "Willy Wonka-ness," referring to the high-backed, neon green chairs set further inside his business.
