Governor Christie said nor'easter expected to slow the recovery from Hurricane Sandy. Winter weather advisory is in effect.

I’m not trying to be an alarmist here. I want everybody to be ready. I want your families to be safe and I want us to be able to do our jobs the right way.” Christie ordered the mandatory evacuation of Barrier Island …

Scott Garrett will be voted out next election with his new district. Adam Gussen, a local politician with no publicity and almost non-existent fundraising somehow managed to get nearly 43% of the vote. I'd call that a close race. With a strong contender, Garrett would certainly lose with 75% of the district in Democratic Bergen County. Source: http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/New_Jersey'…   more ›
