Top Dog: 'Max' Takes Honors in Morristown

Pup will move on to final round of Morris Animal Inn-sponsored event, for chance to win $250 weekend stay.

The pup without a place to call a home (at the moment) gained the most votes in the Morris Animal Inn-sponsored "Top Dog" contest. Out of 71 comments, 23 people voted for "Max." Congratulations! The winners from 10 participating area Patches will now go on to the final round, where the winner will be awarded a $250 gift card for a weekend stay at the Morris Animal Inn for your dog! K9s to 'Bark Around the Clock' at Doggie Prom

Owners are invited to bring their dogs to enjoy a Doggie Prom night, and also donate used prom clothes for students in need.

The Morris Animal Inn will hold its fourth annual Doggie Prom on Wednesday, May 2, when owners can bring their dogs for a fun-filled night of activities, and also help students in need. The pet resort's theme for the prom night is "Bark Around the Clock," which will feature many games and activities for the pooches relating to the 1950s.  Some highlights during the night will include music and dancing to rock 'n' roll hits from the decade, prom photos at the American Barkstand, "Ain't Nothing but a Hound Dog" Dash, the Drive-in Theatre Doggie Chow, and "splish splash" dunks in the indoor aqua center. At the Doggie Prom, participants and other members of the public will have the opportunity to donate prom apparel to students. The Morris …
