Nobody Rains (Or Snows) on St. Patrick's Day Parade

The parade is on Saturday, rain or shine.

Mother Nature will have to throw a lot more than rain or snow to stop the Morris County St. Patrick's Day Parade. An announcement on the St. Patrick's Day Facebook page confirmed that the parade will go on Saturday, rain or shine, barring only extreme weather causing unsafe conditions. The parade has only been moved twice before in 34 years: once in 1993 when it was postponed by one week due to a snow state of emergency, and once in 2010 when severe weather made it unsafe for participants and spectators. The parade was held on April 10 that year. This year's parade begins at noon Saturday, March 9 in front of Kings on South Street. From there it will proceed down South Street and around the green, ending on Atno Avenue. This year's parade …

St. Patrick's Day Parade a Morris County Tradition

It's almost here! The Morris County St. Patrick's Day Parade begins in less than 48 hours. The parade lineup has been released, and you can view the complete lineup in the PDF in the Photos & Videos section of this article. This year's parade begins at noon Saturday, March 9 in front of Kings on South Street. From there it will proceed down South Street and around the green, ending on Atno Avenue.
