A packed room of diners snacked on the best that local restaurants had to offer during 11th annual event.
Hundreds of diners feasted on bite-sized meals prepared by local restaurants during the 11th annual A Taste of Morristown event Monday night. The event, which showcases restaurants and bars of the greater Morristown area, is hosted annually by the Morristown Rotary Club. Proceeds from the evening, for which tickets were sold at $60 a piece, will benefit the Rotary club and their international service projects.

Thirty-three vendors already announced for annual Morristown Rotary fundraiser, set for March.
While we would never advocate saving your appetite until March, we would advocate getting excited because March is not so far away. The 11th annual "Taste of Morristown" is scheduled for March 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hanover Marriott on Route 10 in Hanover Township. And while the annual showcase of some of the region's tastiest cuisine is still just under two months away, 33 vendors already are signed up for the event, which benefits the programs of the Morristown Rotary. 10th-annual event featured over 40 participating businesses.
Were you there? You might have been, as it was clear from the start of the evening that the 10th-annual "Taste of Morristown," a Morristown Rotary fundraiser, might be one of the biggest events of the year, as the Hanover Marriott ballroom quickly filled to capacity. Offerings ranged from pulled pork to steak, pea soup to mushroom soup, crispy pork belly, Jerk-seasoned chicken to all-your-chop-sticks can grab sushi. In total, over 40 businesses participated, both from Morristown and in the surrounding region. Who did you like best? Go and review them in our "Taste of Morristown" contest.

Looking for a taste of Morristown? For 10 years, Morristown Rotary, the local arm of the Rotary International service organization, has brought Morristown (and Morristown-area) restaurants together for an evening of mingling and sampling, all to benefit the service projects they participate in throughout the year. And on Monday, Feb. 27, the event marks its 10th anniversary starting at 6 p.m. at the Hanover Marriott in Whippany.
