Many came out to the Green early Sunday evening for his annual descent from the roof of Century 21.
It didn't seem to matter that organizer Morristown Partnership moved the annual lighting of the Morristown Green and arrival of Santa to Sunday instead of Friday. In fact, it was a very-packed Green full of excited holiday revelers—both young and young at heart—who welcomed Old Saint Nick.

Apparently, deciding to pick a fight while drinking beer on the Green is what Washingtons do. So says one of them, according to a police report. That, according to a police report describing an incident at 11:33 p.m. on May 12, which resulted in the arrest of Robert Washington, 33, of Washington Street.
