Morristown 20-Year-Old Among Those Arrested in Underage Drinking Bust

Officials have been investigating two bars in New Brunswick and South Orange.

Several patrons and bartenders, including a 20-year-old woman from Morristown, have been charged as part of investigations into two bars in New Brunswick and South Orange accused of serving underage drinkers. Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa and Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control Director Michael Halfacre Thursday announced actions to crack down on the two establishments—Scarlet Pub near Rutgers University and Cryan's Beef and Ale House near Seton Hall University. The ABC has notified Scarlet Pub in New Brunswick that it is seeking to revoke its license in connection with a July 2011 raid that resulted in the arrest of 26 people. NJ.com: Morristown Man Charged With Hosting Underage Drinking Party

Vermont Police: James Casey held party for 150 minors.

Vermont State Police have charged a Morristown man with hosting a drinking party for 150 underage graduates at a private school in Massachusetts, according to a NJ.com article. Police say James Casey, 51, was at the party and admitted to hosting it for his daughter and her classmates at Deerfield Academy, according to the article. See the complete article here.
