On the article Ryan Lanza, Wrongly Named As Mass Murderer, Left To Grieve

Reply@Anne. She may have been protecting herself from her psycho son. The facts around his "disability" are not clear. He could 't have been that "disabled" since he knew how to shoot, drop and reload clips. The only facts that we have are the mistake the Police made in releasing his brothers name before they in fact were certain of information they pulled off a paychopath. Thus, putting his brother in harms way of another psycho who wants revenge now that the media has published his address in Hoboken. In the meantime 27 families are without a family member and worse without a child or brother or sister. They are in the safety of God. My prayers are out to everyone affected on this horribly tragic and emotional day.

Reply@Anne - Maybe protecting herself from her psycho son. He definatley knew how to fire a gun since he had to drop and change clips. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds as the facts come out. The theory behind anti-depressant side effects should definately be looked at. But in this case he didn't buy the guns. We now know pollice made a mistake on Id, media reported it wrongly, media also released the exact Hoboken address which put Ryan in further harm of another psycho who may just want to take justice and take him out as revenge. Mothers, teachers and innocent children are gone in Gods hands. My prayers are with the families on this horriiblytragedic day

ReplyThe sad part is that the new bar is suppose to be called Haleys Comet. Not sure what time of clientele that name will attract but it doesn't sound like a quiet bar that will offer a good selection of anything. Heard Walsh is involved which means another raucous bar in MoTown. I can assure you that Chuck Slate and his trio will just be a memory to those of us who remember him. Sad! First Obama wins, then Sandy hits and now nowhere to drown my sorrows:(

ReplyReally Mark Bavarro? Do you think my $50 is better off in your pocket or helping the people who are homeless now because of Sandy? What a jerk.

Reply@maryann. Why do some people always have to be Debbie Downer. This is great news and will benefit so many consumers let alone create some more jobs in town. I would love if they acquire A&P liquor license. Madison carried some great selections of wine and beer before they had to give up their license

ReplyI guess people who didn't grow up in 70's gas crunch don't understand the license plate deal. Go with what it says exactly w/out reading into it. If you end in a letter you're an odd day. As for me, my bell bottoms, Dead shirt and mocassins are coming out of closet. Everything comes in cycles.

Agree with comments except for Becky. She misses point completely on standard cab fare. In addition to analyzing and improving traffic flow at Market St on Green i would love to have a cop or a camera issuing tix during rush hour at Western and Washington. People constantly block the intersection and act dumb while the rest of Western gets backed up in the a.m. I would also like to see a change to the hours that you can make the right at James St & South. Its ridiculous you have to sit there btween 9-9 pm waiting to turn right during off peak hours.
