ReplyJohn has a fixation with permits. What he doesn't understand is that no one else does. John's a pathetic sap.

What does The Seeing Eye have to do with a human being drinking at a Morristown bar and urinating in public? And I don't think talking about what is and isn't a benefit to local taxpayers or the city tax revenue is a conversation that anyone involved with working at or operating a local bar would want to get into.

If by “local small businesses” you mean one of the 20-something bars in Morristown, then the answer’s no. Bars benefit no one other than the people who own them.

This isn't a real "bash bars" story. This is about someone getting bashed...in the face...at a bar...a bar named The Dark Horse Lounge. You must've meant to post a comment on a different story altogether. This story is a story about someone getting assaulted at The Dark Horse Lounge.

Morristown has not "totally gone crazy" just because the Walsh family cannot open another giant alcohol related business and frankly, it's a pretty sickening to hear their online minions constantly badmouthing the same town responsible for letting them earn their wealth in the first place. A town doesn't benefit from having over a dozen bars--only the bar owners themselves benefit. Instead of smearing the town because the Walsh family can't open a bar, or because the Walsh family doesn't want someone else opening a bar, just leave.

Can you confirm that what you posted has absolutley nothing to do with what was written above? This is like the time you posted that anti-Iron Bar rant as a comment on the story about the 17-year-old girl getting raped:

Reply@John Gesicki -- That comment crediting bars with supporting "hundreds or years of civilization throughout the world" is wishful thinking, not to mention self-serving in and of itself. But I'll play along here:
That said, I'd be interested in hearing why, given the value to people getting together and escaping stress, you have a problem with another one opening?

The truth is you sound like you suffered a traumatic brain injury. Please don’t “buy advertising,” or anything else, before you get a full MRI.
The only sign on your building should be a warning to other people that you live there.
