LAST DAY: Vote and Help Win Bike Corrals For Morristown

They’re coming down the home stretch. Bike and Walk Morristown entered Morristown in a national contest to win a bike corral near Kings. The Facebook voting period for the 2013 Saris Bike Corral Photo Contest ends April 5.

Kendra Arnold, Co-Founder, Bike and Walk Morristown, has been spreading the word through Patch blogs and asking everyone to vote for them and tweet to get the word out there.

“We need all the help we can get,” she said. They're up against Town of Concord, MA and Colorado Plus Brew Pub / Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Entries were submitted between March 1 -29. Then, vote on the three finalists on the Saris Facebook Page is going on only this week from April 1 - 5. The winner will be announced on April 8. 

The excitement with Bike and Walk Morristown is amped up with the recent unanimous approval of the Morristown Bike Plan at the Planning Board meeting last Thursday.

“I'm really happy about it (the bike plan), It will be great to see some of the elements of it on the streets, and I think it will really encourage more people to get out and ride,” said Arnold.
