Red, White and Blue in the Garden. On Tuesday, July 2nd from 1:15 to 2 p.m. Macculloch Hall Historical Museum invites three to five year olds and their caregivers to find the patriotic colors of red, white, and blue among the flowers growing in Macculloch Hall’s historic garden.  Children will hear a story and while in the garden mix paints to “create” the colors they find and use those paints to make a painting to take home.

Stop, Look, and Listen for Woodpeckers.  Are there woodpeckers in the garden at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum?  On Tuesday, July 16th from 1:15 to 2 p.m. children three to five years old and their caregivers can stop, look, and listen for the tapping of woodpeckers and discover why woodpeckers tap on trees.  In addition to visiting the garden, children will hear a story about woodpeckers and make and decorate a paper woodpecker and tree to take home.
