Two candidates move on to general election for Morristown Mayor

Morristown primary election day was . 

Team Dougherty gathered the most votes on the Democrats' side in the race for three open seats on the Morristown Town Council. No Republicans ran.

For Mayor, Tim Dougherty was unchallenged on the Democratic side and Richard Babcock is the Republican write-in candidate for Morristown Mayor and is the only mayoral candidate endorsed by the Morristown Republican Committee.

Last week, We Are United and Organized (UNO), a group of Morristown residents started a grassroots effort aimed at solving problems affecting local communities, free of politics, announced the endorsement of a slate of Democratic Candidates for Morristown Council in the primary election.
