Morristown Native NJAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week

William Paterson freshman outside hitter Mary Long was selected Monday as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Volleyball Rookie of the Week.

Long averaged 2.79 kills, 2.21 digs and 0.71 block per set during four matches last week. She posted 12 kills, 11 digs and three block solos Sept. 17 during a 3-2 victory against St. Joseph's-Long Island, and had 10 kills, five digs and four total blocks (three solo) in a 3-0 win Sept. 19 against New Jersey City.

Long contributed nine kills, five digs and two aces to a 3-0 victory Sept. 21 against Old Westbury, and added 10 digs to teams bests of eight kills and two blocked shots during the night cap against St. Joseph's-Long Island.
