Most boys want toys, the latest gadgets or video games for their 8th Birthday. Not Cody Grzeskowiak , Cody chose otherwise !
This local hero wanted to help our Morristown based rescue group, 911 Dog and Cat Rescue. His Mom Caitlin Nakonechny is an active volunteer with us and Cody wanted to do something very special for the animals.
Instead of presents for himself for his Birthday party, Cody asked his Mom to have his friends bring food and supplies for the adoptable dogs and cats in Morristown!
Cody and his family were overjoyed to see the generosity when his friends were arriving to his party with arm fulls of toys and food for the animals!
At 8 years old, Cody has set an example on how to be an unselfish person and how to put others in need before yourself.
